buried lifeHYPE Richmond is thrilled to announce that MTV’s The Buried Life will be speaking at the Civic Hall Performing Arts Center on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:30 pm

“The Buried Life (TBL) originated in 2006 when four now-twenty-something’s – Ben Nemtin, Dave Lingwood, Duncan Penn and Jonnie Penn – set out in an old RV to complete a list of ‘100 Things We Want To Do Before We Die,’ and help out strangers along the way accomplish something their own lists. In mid-2008, MTV’s Revielle’s Howard T. Owens helped the team check of #53: Make a TV show, by capturing the four in a reality show, in real with no manipulation and no assistance from MTV, except for cameras rolling.”

Two of the founding members of The Buried Life will be speaking about their experiences traveling the globe, crossing off list items, and asking strangers the question: “What do you want to do before you die?”

So, why The Buried Life? HYPE is committed to mobilizing young professionals to make the Richmond community a great place to live, work, and play. We are confident that this event will aid us on our mission because The Buried Life will empower YOU to think about and go after your hopes and dreams. If even just one person accomplishes something on their list, if creates a sense of fulfillment and positivity. It is that sense of positivlty that will spread into the community, and continue making Richmond a great place to live, work, play.

The event starts at 7pm, followed by a meet and greet with the guys at 8:30. Ticketing is general admission.
