Many people may not be aware that a fully functioning passenger train station is located just 30 miles or so from all points Wayne County. This year they have offered the Easter Bunny Express, the Dinner Train and many other fun excursions- both long and short.
Also for the holidays you can get tickets (26.00 each) to ride the Polar Express. This train experience will last for several weekends and is starting soon. (space is limited- all days are sold out except for November 18th, 2011, 5:00 p.m., so call soon if interested.)
For more information you can visit the website for the Whitewater Valley Railroad.Grandparents and parents who love trains- this information is especially for you and the kids you will take with you to make it seem like it’s for them.
