If you are interested in registering for the Wayne County 4H Queen competition, you must have your registration in by May 31, 2014. Also, there are some changes in the rules. Please read below for updates.
* IMPORTANT CHANGES **
The Wayne County 4-H Fair Queen Committee has made a recent change concerning the 2014 Queen Contest.
The NEW ages for the queen division will be 16 and older. You must be 16 as of June 1, 2015 to compete in this division.
The new ages will allow more ladies to participate and have the opportunity to obtain the skills for interviewing, stage presence, and public appearances.
KEEP IN MIND….in order to participate at state fair, the Wayne County Queen must be 18 years old by June 1, 2015. The “underage” ladies will have the option to keep the queen status or relinquish the queen status, if chosen prior to the contest. State Fair rules states you can only win your county fair once.
SO…..for example…..you are 16 years old and have the highest points to win the 2014 Queen title. You will have chosen prior to the contest, that if you were chosen, that you would:

Deadline to register is May 31st. Sponsorship fee will be $50. Orientation is this Sunday, May 18th at 2pm at the First Friends Church on Chester Blvd (next to Friends Fellowship). First queen workshop is Tuesday, June 3rd from 6:30-8pm at Lingle Hall at Reid Hospital.
