Looking for something exciting to do this weekend AND something that supports a great organization? Then you will want to head out to the Wayne County 4H Fairgrounds for the Wild Wheels 4 Wernle event.
Starting Friday, July 17 at 8:00 the Jimmy Sparks Band will kick off a weekend of events. Cost for the concert is 10.00 for tickets purchased in advance and 15.00 at the concert. (tickets can be purchased at the Whitewater Valley Marine Corps League, Berties Music Bar or Patio at the Ribeye).
Saturday is filled with events, and many are free to watch with a gate entry fee of 5.00 per vehicle. The day includes a car and bike show in the Kuhlman Center at noon, a motorcycle rodeo at 2:00 p.m. and a mud bug by the 4H Fair committee at 7:00 p.m. An addition to the schedule is the lawn mower derby (with speeds up to 60-70 mph) and demo derby at 3:00 p.m. Of course food and other vendors will be available throughout the fairgrounds.
Saturday night, the local Dire Skates derby ladies will take on the Sandusky Roller girls at 5:00 p.m., followed by a concert by Lipstick. See below for more details or visit the facebook event page at Wild Wheels for Wernle 2015.
