Paradise on Roosevelt Hill..Concert Series In Richmond

Parrots of the Carribean 2010

Another successful event by the Richmond Parks and Recreation Department, the first in the Summer Concert Series was a hit with all who attended.  Some families on the hill had even traveled quite a distance for this concert.

Playing to a large crowd of hundreds scattered across Roosevelt Hill, Parrots of the Caribbean got people on their feet, dancing, clapping and singing the well-known words of Jimmy Buffet songs.

The lead singer had several humorous costume changes through the show, and the crowd was entertained by a very large shark that started a Conga line through the spectators on the hill.

The evening was cool and crisp, a perfect night for the first concert.
