Do you like live music? How about magic? Want to take in a live musical by local actors and vocalists? Do you have a child who loves the American Girl Dolls? You can enjoy all these and more this weekend.

Little Sheba’s will host “The Singing Fireman” Brian Benedict at 6:30 p.m.
Moment’s Notice will be playing at Common Grounds Coffee House at 7:00 p.m. (jazz)
Tomorrow Night:
Little Sheba’s will host Sean Lamb at 6:30 p.m.
E Street Pub will feature “So Sayeth” & Jawspread starting at 8:00 p.m.
Tomorrow at 4th Floor Blues as part of the InConcert series magician Travis Sims of “Extreme Entertainment” will entertain both children and adults. For children there are two shows at 3:30 and 5:30. Tickets are 5.00 for the kids shows. And then for the adults you can get tickets for shows following in the evening. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and tickets for the adult show are 15.00. A local magician will perform prior to Drew’s appearance. Food will be available for the kids shows and an open bar for the adults later at the evening show. On Saturday, at the Centerville Public Library, you can make someone very happy by taking them to see a program that is centered around one of the favorite American Girl Dolls and her life. This event is from 2-4 p.m. and free to the public.

Whether you are going out to party or staying in, there are several options for enjoyment in Wayne County.
will offer live music and entertainment at the 4th Floor Blues Club tonight. Featured musicians are: Gil Puckett as well as the Jonny Hazard Band. Doors open at 7:00 pm, tickets are 25.00 each which includes a buffet and champaigne toast. Proceeds for this event help to support 12 non-profits in Wayne County. Tickets can be purchased at Joe’s Pizza, Little Sheba’s, Wayne County Tourism or any of the non-profits supported by the InConcert Series.
Moment’s Notice, a local jazz group favorite, will play live this evening at the new HolidayInn. From 6-9 a prime rib buffet will be served and from 9-12 p.m. will be an open bar. There will also be a champaigne toast at midnight. For reservations you can call: 765-488-1975. ***This event has been cancelled due to a low number of reservations. However, they will be serving a regular meal from 6-11 p.m. and people are welcome to come and stay the night – no reservations needed for the dinner. Live music will not be available.
Feel free to dress in your favorite ’60s attire as you ring in the new year at the VFW. Please bring a finger food to share. Closing at 1:00 a.m. Call the VFW for more details.
Tonight you can reserve a lane for your family from 6- 8 p.m. with a 59.99 package which includes 2 pizzas, refillable soft drinks, 2 hours of bowling, shoes, and more. Must call ahead or go in to reserve your spot. Arrival time is 5:30 p.m.
Later, the older crowd can enjoy a late night bowling party starting at 9:00 p.m. Reservations are not needed but will be on a first come basis. Cost is per person.
Joe’s will be closing at 3:00 p.m. today, but will have dishes available for your party at home. Offerings include their signature Calzones, Roscoe’s Rescue, pizzas & more! Call in or drive by for some yummy additions to your party tonight.
Visit any of your locally owned cafes and restaurants to pick up dishes for your party while buying local and supporting our shop owners.

The Scissormen on Saturday, April 7th, 2012 at the 4th Floor Blues Club.
The opening band will be- Jonny Hazard, featuring Randy & Brian Baker. Tickets are $15/person and attenders must be 21. Food & Cash Bar will be available. Tickets and more information are available at Maria Mitrione’s Italian Market, or call 765-966-5654.
The InConcert series helps to support at least 11 non-profits in the Wayne County area. By attending, you will not only enjoy yourself, you are also helping good causes in the area.
