You will learn of the amazing recording artists who caught the train to Richmond and walked down to the Gorge area to record their first records.  Hogy Carmichael, Lawrence Welk and many others got their start right here in Richmond.</description>

		<description>Great article!  Not sure if it was mentioned but they are planning the October Fest at Depot District already.  There will be vendor space at very low cost.  Make sure to stop by the new Railroad Store which historically was it&#039;s name when the train station was open and running.  It is now home to several dozen vendors selling handmade and antique items--just opened in November 2009.</description>
